I think August is very happy he has a new friend. On page 52, they were talking alot and it said both of them were smiling.
Wonder
When August decided he was going to school, he must have been super scared and anxious. I think this because, ever kid is a little bit nervous on the first day, and if you look different than other kids, they are not very nice.

When Oliver called Tori at the party, she must have been really scared and surprised. I think this because It was 1:49am, and Oliver is 7 years old. A 7 year old should not be up that late. It also says that he was talking about Charlie, and she started freaking out.

I think that Julian must have felt at least a bit guilty while yelling at Sara. He said on page 121, “Sara, i’m sorry i said those things, you are the best friend ive ever had. And the truth is, it doesn’t matter how you used to be its how you are now.”

Summary of the Giver
The Giver by Louis Lowry tells how Jonas lives his life in a hidden society. Everything is black and white. But lately, Jonas has seen beyond. When everyone graduates year 12, they get assigned a role/job. Jonas gets receiver, which explains why he has seen colours/seeing beyond. The receiver is a great honor in the communities. Fast forword about 1 year into his training, Jonas is able to see all colours. Every receiver, sees beyond in very different ways, the giver who is training him, was able to hear beyond. But Jonas has lately thought about the past receiver, whoms name is forbidden. The giver has told him, her name was Rosemary, she had asked to be released because she simply did not think she was fit for the job. He shows Jonas a video of a release, he finds it very wrong and disturbing. He wants to leave. He makes a plan with the giver, he packs food, and he escapes during the night. He bikes for who knows how long. But then it starts to snow. He bikes in the blowing snow until he sees something familiar, a sled.

When Ruby met Ahmad at her moms work, I don’t think she was very excited. As it says on page 109, Ruby says “Im fine.” When Mr. Saleem told Ahmad to walk her home. And when her mom says that Ahmad seems like a good friend, Ruby says. “i hate this place, i hate this place, I HATE THIS PLACE, I HATE THIS PLACE.”
